We compare colors in a perceptual color space using CIEDE2000. That means the score follows visible difference more closely than raw slider distance.

What is the daily color challenge?
Every player receives the same five original color rounds for the current UTC day, making scores easy to compare with friends.
How is the color score calculated?
Your color and the target are converted to a perceptual color space and compared with the CIEDE2000 color-difference method. The result is translated into a friendly 0–100 score.
Can I play Color Match Game with friends?
You can share your five-round score and challenge friends to play the same daily colors. Custom private challenges are planned for a later version.
